The ambiance and spirit of the event were pretty fun and friendly. Participants were not intimidated at all. Swimmers cheered each other to support their mates and friends. For newbies even though this was the first time for them to participate in such a swim meet, they did their best to swim well and set their own personal best time. For non-ex swimmers, this event is to set to benchmark of their fitness level improvement after adopting swimming for the past few months. Stevi Pohe from Jakarta, she really enjoyed the event. She just took up swimming in January to prepare herself to take part in triathlon events, and she grabbed bronze medal or 3rd place in her age group category. Francois Gontha, one of the participants said that this event has set a new dimension for swimming and allows adults to believe all can swim to stay fit and compete in their own league. All I all, most swimmers had fun and some brought home their first medal from a swim competition. Ex competitive swimmers were likely to race against ex swimmers. They spread out the spirit of fairness and fitness to non swimmers, inspiring others to finish the swim happily.
